What are the virtues and properties of essential oils of neroli, palmarosa, cistus, lavender and yarrow ?
Neroli essential oil helps strengthen all skin types needing more vitality and elasticity.
Both essential oils of palmarosa and carrot seed help to nourish, soothe and smooth dry and mature skin while providing protection against wrinkles and chapping.
The Cistus essential oil can help normalize oily skin and reduce puffiness because it promotes lymphatic drainage.
The lavender essential oil is often used against itching. It has the virtue of balancing the hydrolipidic (fatty ) layer of the skin and heals the wounds caused by acne, eczema or hives.
The yarrow essential oil has astringent, anti- inflammatory and antiseptic properties that help dry and heal painful acne pimples.
Aloe Vera is known for its healing and moisturizing properties. The oil extracted from aloe leaves and added to a base, such as hazelnut oil, is excellent for all skin types. The wheat germ oil revitalizes the skin. It contains high amounts of vitamin E and is beneficial for many skin types, but is especially beneficial for softening and for dry and dull skin. This oil can also act as a preservative when added to other home cosmetic products.
Epileptics and pregnant women should not use essential oils of yarrow, carrot and undiluted cistus.
