Goji Berries Increase Testosterone - Natural Aphrodisiac

Goji Berries Increase Testosterone

The decline in libido, or sexual desire, in women is a fairly common problem. According to many sexologists, loss of libido is one of the hardest sexual disorders to treat.

You ask yourself, ‘Why is it that I no longer feel the urge to make love like before ?

What can I do to improve my sexual relationship with my partner ?

Is there a proven natural aphrodisiac to help me boost my libido ?

If sexual desire is natural, why does it disappear ?

There are physical and emotional factors that affect our sexual desire:

• Stress

• Nutritional deficiencies

• Adrenal Fatigue

• Hormonal Imbalance

• Decrease in testosterone production

Testosterone and Sexual Desire

A hormonal imbalance is the simplest cause of low libido. Testosterone is an androgenous hormone (especially since adult human male produces about 40 to 60 times more testosterone that an adult female), which plays a very important role in the stimulation of sexual desire or libido.

A decrease in testosterone levels in a woman’s blood inevitably leads to a loss of interest in sex.

Testosterone, Menopause and Libido

Let us consider a concrete example to illustrate the relationship between the libido and the role of natural hormones secreted by a woman’s body.

Most women who suffer from common symptoms of pre-menopause and menopause (hot flashes, insomnia, and fatigue, feelings of discomfort, mood swings and weight gain) also notice a significant decrease in libido. Why ?

Because an important hormonal imbalance occurs: progesterone secretion by the ovary decreases. However, testosterone in women is partly synthesized from progesterone.

Result : During menopause, the decrease in the rate of the hormone progesterone naturally leads to a decreased synthesis of testosterone, which also explains some inhibition of sexual desire!

Note this: Clinical studies have confirmed that when women suffering from menopausal symptoms regain a satisfactory hormonal balance, in most cases, their sexual desire returns too !

Testosterone, Adrenal Glands and Libido

Testosterone is not only synthesized in the ovaries from progesterone but also made in the adrenal glands of women from DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone).

If you face many problems and you are under pressure, the adrenal glands will work harder, promoting the synthesis of cortisol instead of DHEA. This is called adrenal fatigue.

Result: The adrenal glands will manufacture less testosterone and your sex drive will also decrease!

Natural Aphrodisiac, Goji Berries and Increased Libido

In Asia, goji berries (Lycium barbarum) have been used since ancient times as a powerful sexual tonic or aphrodisiac.

How can one explain that the taking these red berries (which resemble elongated cherries) can promote amorous reconciliation ?

There are at least two reasons:

1) One of its medicinal properties is that of increasing testosterone levels in the blood of the consumer, whether male and female.

As we have explained quite simply, it is often a decline in testosterone levels, which explains the reduction or loss of sexual desire. Goji berries also have the power to enhance sexual performance.

2) Goji berries enhance the emotional, mental and physical state of the consumer.

They contain 18 different amino acids of which 8 are essential (including tryptophan and isoleucine), 21 trace elements (such as phosphorus, selenium, copper, zinc and iron) and numerous vitamins (as an indication, this fruit contains 300 to 500 times more vitamin C than an orange of the same proportions!).

Regular consumption of this fruit significantly improves mood and reduces stress. As we explained above, stress is also a factor responsible for decreased libido.

Another Natural Aphrodisiac : SAFRAN and MACA

Saffron extract (Crocus sativus L) contains the safranal, recognized for its anti-stress and aphrodisiac substance.

This spice is widely used in the East to stimulate and strengthen the sexual appetite.

Maca (Lepidium Perivianum Chacon) is a phytoestrogen, often used against osteoporosis, which would also have aphrodisiac properties.

When used as a dietary supplement, maca can increase sexual desire in women and fertility.
